Melanotan 2 (sometimes written MT-II) is a lab-made cyclic peptide built from seven amino acids, classified as a non-selective melanocortin-receptor agonist. It’s best known in research for the way it engages the melanocortin receptor family, and its ability to bind across multiple receptor subtypes is what makes it stand out.
