FOXO4-DRI is a lab-made peptide built as a mirror-image (D-retro-inverso) version of part of the FOXO4 protein. It is best known in senescence and longevity research, where it is studied for how it interferes with the FOXO4-p53 protein pairing inside aged cells.
It also has a solid research footing, with work exploring its effect on senescent cells and tissue function in lab models (Baar et al., 2017, Cell). That is why it has become a go-to peptide in this corner of cellular aging research.
